Howdy!

   
       I'm still alive!  At least for the moment!  Actually, I have been really busy this spring (I STRONGLY dislike when other people make excuses, but mine are ALWAYS legit!!!), and I haven't made blogging a priority.  Well, the busy excuse is out the window (at least for the time being; I will keep it in my back pocket for this fall!), because I will be spending the next month living by MYSELF!

       For a guy who LOVES being around people (especially my family), this will be a SERIOUS adjustment.  Now, lest you think that I am going to become a monk, I'm not!  I'm actually interning with a great friend, Pastor Mike Stanley (Bro. Stanley is the pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas).  So I will be around plenty of people and have plenty to do, but I have decided that I would like to post on my blog every day (excluding weekends) while I'm here.  And I even brought a camera; so if I can figure out how to run it and how to put the photos on the computer, I will give you a glimpse of my life over the next month.   Don't expect any great pictures, though, for the following reasons-  1. The camera is fairly basic, so the quality probably won't be great.  2. I am NOT a photographer!  3.  I could come up with another excuse, but I already told you what I think of excuses, so I'll stop!

       Anyway, I am looking forward to what God is going to teach me in the next month, and hopefully I can pass some of it on as an encouragement to ya'll!  May God bless you, and have a great weekend!
